Library

The Guild Library holds a specialist collection of close to 3,000 books, magazines and DVDs and operates in much the same way as your local library in that books are in subject order on the shelves. Borrowing from the library is a special privilege for members only. Books on subjects that include weaving, spinning, knitting, embroidery, dyeing, and more cover the topics that interest Guild members.

  • Borrowing is free for members.

  • Members can borrow up to 6 items for up to 8 weeks.

  • Only current financial Guild members are eligible to borrow items.

  • Items in the Reference Collection cannot be borrowed

  • The online catalogue is a comprehensive site where you can search by topic, author, etc., reserve and renew items and create your lists of favourite books.

  • Anyone can search the collection as a guest, but only members can borrow.

  • Once you join the Guild, you will receive an email welcoming you to the library. It will provide your borrower number and password. If you have lost the email, contact us at library@spinweavensw.org, and we will resend the details.

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact the library at  library@spinweavensw.org

Have fun and enjoy our library!
